Footbridge over M2

The footbridge near Prishtina's main bus station on regional road M2 provides a safe way for pedestrians, particularly the elderly, children, and people with special needs, to cross to the other side of the road/city. The plot for the building is limited on both sides of the road, and ramps and stairs are designed parallel to the roads.

The narrow location of the footbridge heavily influenced its architectural design, especially the 40m double ramps. The stairs and ramps start on the ground floor and rise to 5.44m where they connect to the closed footbridge. The investor requested the footbridge be closed while the stairs are covered.
